It might be. Word has it this grape does well with little water and can withstand heat without losing too much acid. The super grape of tomorrow. But for now, the Enz Vineyard is about the only place you'll find it, and we're lucky that a handful of forward-thinking producers craft very nice wines from this vineyard.
