Rize Up Garlic Confit Thyme
Rize Up Garlic Confit Thyme
The Garlic Confit Thyme Loaf will be the best garlic experience you'll have all year. Chef Azikiwi slowly confits whole garlic cloves in olive oil until they get soft and sweet. Then he mixes in chopped thyme, because garlic confit needs a little herbal pop of flavor, you know? It's one of Rize Up Bakery's most popular loaves.
With the amount of garlic in each loaf (the technical term is A LOT), it'll be sure to keep the vampires away.
Here's An Idea:
Try this bread in a savory bread pudding! Chop a handful of your favorite soft herbs (chives, dill, tarragon, etc) and set aside. Whip a few tablespoons of heavy cream to soft peaks, whip in a couple of ounces of soft goat cheese and whisk until combined. Stir in the chopped herbs, salt and pepper to taste and serve together.
Or... reheated the loaf in the oven, slice and serve with roasted chicken, fish or a chickpea/bean stew with Iranian flavors.
