Papari Valley 2020 3 Qvevri Terraces Rkatsiteli, Qvevri 20

The Wine

Made from the Rkatsiteli grape variety that fermented in the winery's terracotta amphora  or 'Qvevris' (KWEV ree) where indigenous yeast did the work of fermentation. These quevris are terraced into three levels so gravity can be used to move the wine from one to another. The wine is called "3 Qvevri Terraces, Qvevri 20" as that is the number of the last vessel this wine sees prior to bottling. 

A dry Amber Wine, 12.5% ABV
