From the Far Niente family of vineyards, En Route reflects its parentage in winemaking style as well as label design, with that unmistakable font serving as a marker of its family lineage. The family's En Route brand was born out of their love of Pinot Noir. In this bottling, the family blends Pinots from different vineyards and clones.

The name 'Les Pommiers' is an homage to the long-gone apple orchards that supported the valley long before grapes became the cash crop of choice.
