The Wine

A satisfyingly crisp and tart style of Pinot Noir so light in style you can read the newspaper (remember those?) right through a glass full of this wine. Light and elegant but still rich enough to play well with a wide range of dishes! 

 This wine has long been one of our favorite under-the-radar gems!

The Winery

Borell-Diehl is one of those old wold wineries inhabiting one of those centuries-old buildings that seems as if it would be haunted were not for the winery that breathes life into it. And as with so many old world wineries, Borrell-Diel has successfully handed the reins over to a new generation - George Diehl (see photos).

Following the European model for successful inter-generational succession, George gained his winemaking chops under a diverse set of global tutors - institutions like Von Volxem and Wittmann as well as an apprenticeship in New Zealand.
