Adami Prosecco Vigneto Giardino
The Wine
Valdobbiadene – Rive di Colbertaldo.
Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG)
Asciutto (Dry)
Vigneto Giardino is from a south-facing vineyard, and as such benefits from long exposure to sunlight during its Northern Hemisphere growing season. The wine represents the denomination’s very first single-vineyard Valdobbiadene DOCG.
Vigneto Giardino debuted as 'Riva Giardino Asciutto' in 1933 at Siena's 1° Mostra Mercato dei Vini Tipici d’Italia (1st Exhibition of Traditional Wines of Italy), where it earned kudos for the very trait Adami is known for today: the crisp fragrance of fresh-picked fruit.
The Winery
Fully appreciating a wine means understanding the identity of a growing area through the kinds of wines it produces, immersing oneself in a sensory experience that never repeats itself exactly. Our sensory experience will vary with our mood, who we share the wine with, the beauty of our surroundings, even the amount of sleep we got the night before. But at the same time, a well-understood wine is always recognizable, because the world offers nothing else like it.
